During your session at our Montreal studio, you simply place your hands on a sensor that reads your body's subtle energy. Within seconds, our analog camera translates that energy into a beautiful burst of colour around you. Angélique Dubé is a Montreal-based aura photographer and the founder of Prisma Aura. Quebec-born and shaped by formative years in the United States, she has been practicing aura photography for over five years and brings a multidisciplinary background in energy work and craft to every session, certified in Reiki and yoga and trained in jewellery design. Each interpretation draws on those threads. She offers a careful read of colour, placement, and presence in French or English. Her studio in downtown Montreal welcomes individual sessions, small groups, and private or corporate events.

What is aura photography and how does it work?
Aura photography is an analogue process that captures the energy field around your body as vibrant colours. During your session at our downtown Montreal studio, you place your hands on a biometric sensor that reads your body's subtle energy. Our analogue camera then translates that energy into a one-of-a-kind Instax Wide photo, and every session includes a personalized interpretation of your colours.
Where is the aura photography studio in Montreal?
Our Prisma Aura studio is located in downtown Montreal at 460 Sainte-Catherine Street West, Suite 706. We are easily accessible by metro (McGill or Place-des-Arts station) and we offer solo sessions, small group bookings, and aura photo activations for private and corporate events.
How long is an in-studio session and what is included?
This duration applies only to in-studio appointments at our downtown Montreal location: each one-on-one session takes about 20 to 30 minutes and includes your analogue Instax Wide aura photo along with a personalized interpretation where we walk you through the meaning of each colour and zone. You leave with your original photo and a clearer understanding of your current emotional, creative, and spiritual state. Private and corporate events follow a shorter, faster-paced format tailored to guest volume.
Do you offer aura photography for private or corporate events?
Yes. We travel across Quebec, the rest of Canada, the United States, and Europe for bridal showers, birthday parties, bachelorettes, baby showers, corporate events, product launches, and brand activations. What do the aura colours on my photo mean?
Each colour in your aura aligns with a specific chakra or energetic state: red signals vitality, green reflects growth, blue speaks to communication, purple to intuition. Can the aura photo be taken outdoors?
Yes, it is possible, but only under the right conditions. The weather has to be mild, not too hot and not too cold, and we need to set up in a sheltered, enclosed space such as a marquee, gazebo, or covered terrace. Outdoor ambient light is far too strong for the analogue camera, so our 4×4 black tent is required: it creates the controlled environment the film needs in order to capture your energy field.
